MPI continues to work closely with Anthem Blue Cross regarding Anthem’s cyber attack. Anthem has announced that it is making
Identity Repair and Credit Monitoring services available to anyone who has been enrolled in an Anthem plan at any time since
2004 at no cost. These individuals were automatically enrolled for Identity Repair services for the period of January 30, 2015
through January 30, 2017 and there is nothing further you need to do. However, if you want additional protection of Credit
Monitoring services, you
enroll for these services by going to the Anthem website at
or by calling AllClearID at 1-877-263-7995.
Anthem will be sending a letter, by the end of February via US Mail, to all individuals that have been enrolled in an Anthem
plan at any time since 2004 with additional information about the Identity Repair and Credit Monitoring services; however,
you do not have to wait to receive the letter to enroll in the Credit Monitoring services. Please note that there have been
reports of fraudulent e-mails that appear to be from Anthem offering credit monitoring services. These e-mails are
from Anthem and should be ignored. Anthem will
be contacting anyone via e-mail with an offer to enroll in credit monitoring
At this time, there is NO information available from MPI or Anthem as to whose individual information has been impacted.
